To go along with my watermark card, I decided to make a matching bookmark. This time I embossed the Asian Fan Border Stamp by Hero Arts image using white embossing powder and some Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I also used Crystal Stickles to add some sparkle to the fans.

Today I decided to try the watermark technique as a background for a card I will be giving to my Grandmother. The card was inspired by the book I recently completed, The Hand I Fan With by Tina McElroy Ansa. I decided for the flower I would emboss on pattern scrap paper, and use some scrap ribbon I had on hand to further enhance the look of the card. I also rounded the corners to bring a softer look and feel to the card.

Fresh Bloom Stamp; Corner Chomper Last year for Grandparents Day, we decided to host a Sunday dinner for our parents. What was on the menu...baked chicken, stuffed shrimp baked potatoes, mixed greens pear cranberry spinach salad, and strawberry cream cake for dessert. Here is a layout of the Pumpkin with her parents and grandparents to mark the occasion. Great food. Great company.
This year for Grandparent's Day, we were hosting a Sip & See for our new addition, so we will be celebrating this coming Sunday. Look for the next G.D. Layout!!!!! :) HAPPY GRANDPARENTS DAY TO ALL THE GRANDPARENTS OUT THERE! Happy Scrappin'! For the sketch below, I decided to change it up a bit. My layout still has 2 photos, along with 3 embellishments. Once I pulled everything together, I liked this placement best, but wanted to ensure that it still held the essential elements of the sketch. So here's my layout - with one of my favorite bumper stickers which is acting as my title.
