So we’re in the month of gratitude – as I like to call the month of November.  The Thanksgiving Holiday always brings us back to a place where although we should do this every day…a place of thankfulness – a willingness to be grateful for all that we have been allotted to do or to things that have been given and afforded to us.
As stated before, this is something we should do on a daily basis, but sometimes with the hustle of days in and days out, being thankful and expressing our gratitude gets forgotten and left behind.
With that being said, this month, I would like to focus at least one card/layout a week to being thankful or expressing gratitude’s.
I’d love for you all to join me.  Tell me in the comments section what you’re thankful about.

Fall is definitely my favorite season hands down.  This past weekend, we did our new family tradition of visiting the pumpkin patch.  Unlike last year, our little Princess was a bit more active since she's older, and she of course had an opinion on each pumpkin she encountered.  Also, unlike last year - last year we went to the pumpkin patch at the end of September and we were only there for about 15 minutes - it was getting a bit cold.  I had my jacket on, hubby had on a sweater and baby girl had on a warm up suit....see layout below (Posted 9/7/10).  This year, the temperature was in the high 80's, hubby and I should have worn shorts and baby girl was in a sleeveless dress with sandles......totally different!  :)  But all in all like last year, we enjoyed the Pumpkin Patch and look forward to next fall when we do it all over again.  Here are a few shots from our visit this year.

For my second Sketch Challenge, I decided to do a 2-page Layout.  I've been wanting to scrapbook these photos for almost a year now, and what better way to welcome the upcoming fall season than by doing a fall layout.
I didn't have too many problems implementing the sketch, however after completing the first page, I felt as though I needed to add a little something to the page, so I decided to add the pumpkins at the bottom of the page to add a little interest, but to completely bring the pages together.  It did take a little while for me to stamp/color the lighter pumpkins, and to stamp/color the darker pumpkins, but I think it was definitely worth it!  I hope you enjoy this 2-page Layout, as much as I enjoyed creating it.
I hope to get my Sketch Challenge #3 up (the sketch at least) later on today or early tomorrow morning.  Until next time, Happy Scrapping!!!!
