I Declare by Joel Osteen.......I'm starting my mornings off with a dose of declarations and inspiration.....a great start to my daily devotional with my pastor, Pastor Joel Osteen.  I'm only a few pages into this book currently, reading it daily, taking each declaration one day at a time.    ~2/10/13

I recently started reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King.  I'm about 250 pages into it right now.  I must say it's a great book....which I wouldn't expect anything less from such an amazing author who has the ability to capture the reader's attention from page 1!  Looking forward to how this book will turn out!  ~ 2/10/13

Overall, I believe this was an amazing book.  It was full of a wealth of information.  Rebecca Skloot did an amazing job at telling the history of not only the family but also the cells of Mrs. Henrietta Lacks, allowing the world to now know of this woman's contribution to the World of Science and our lives as we know them today.  Amazing!

Just picked up The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.  Looking forward to reading and learning more about this very important piece of medical history.

5/6/2012 - Although this book isn't on the reading list - I had to read it!  Currently, I'm about 329 pages into the book.  I've been reading it really slow....my excuse......I got a new toy that I've been playing with lately, instead of reading.  Hope to finish this book soon as I need to get back on track with my 2012 reading schedule!  :)  Plus I only have like 60 pages to go.....

I thought overall this was a great book.  Suzanne Collins does a great job at bringing the characters to life.  I loved the highs and lows of this book - it's like Suzanne wanted the readers to feel everything the characters were feeling.  Because of that, I felt as though I was walking along side  Katniss the main character in the book throughout the story.  Cinna's character is amazing and Katniss all I can say is she is one bad chick!!!!!  There were literally parts of the story where I cried, shouted, screamed, shook my head and laughed.  Again this book is a great read - a must read before seeing the movie!

REVIEW COMING SOON!

3/6/2012 - This book starts off very slow - but keep at it - it's definitely worth it!  About 50-100 pages into the story it picks up - by the half way point it REALLY picks up and then it slows down again towards the end.  Talk about a climax!  This is one of the best fiction books I've read in a while!  Can't wait to read the next one!

1/17/2012 - I just started reading this book today.  I'm not far into it...but I'm looking forward to it being a good book as many of my friends have recommended it.

1/12/2012 - Overall, I feel as though this is the BEST book I've read in a really long time.  Randy Pausch did a great job of bring all these key nuggets together that we as Americans already know and value as a culture but have somehow as a nation have lost sights of.  He was also able to bring to the table new and exciting ways of viewing our experiences in life.  This again was a great read that I feel everyone should read.  It would also make an excellent graduation gift!

1/4/2012 - This is how I will begin my 2012 Reading List....I figured that Randy Pausch's The Last Lecture would be a great starting off point for this new year.  I've been wanting to read this book for quite some time, and I'm excited about finally starting it.  I believe this book will be full of inspiration, joy and even some sadness...but I feel that I will be fully inspired, and based on the reviews I've read I feel as though this book will make a lasting impression on my life and will get me full of inspiration and excitement as we start this new year!

1/4/12 - I actually started reading A Wedding Story by Dee Tenorio on 12/29/2011 and finished on 12/31/2011.  It was a cute little love story to finish 2011 with.  I like how in the book just like in real life, love can be looking us right in the face without us even knowing it.   :)
