I recently finished reading The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran.  This is one of two books I've read by her - the other being Nefertiti.  Michelle Moran draws the reader in from page one, through the eyes of the young Princess Nefertari.  The Heretic Queen is a very vivid, colorful book that capture the very essence of Ancient Egypt.  If you're into Ancient Egypt, or even historical fiction, this is a book I would strongly recommend.
