Today I decided to try the watermark technique as a background for a card I will be giving to my Grandmother. The card was inspired by the book I recently completed, The Hand I Fan With by Tina McElroy Ansa. I decided for the flower I would emboss on pattern scrap paper, and use some scrap ribbon I had on hand to further enhance the look of the card. I also rounded the corners to bring a softer look and feel to the card.
