Roscato, not to be confused with Moscato.  Like Moscato, ROSCATO is a sweet Italian Red Wine.  It pairs well with fish, and other meat dishes.  It is also good to sip on alone.  Great if you're just getting into red wine and would like to introduce your pallet to something not so heavy.  SRP $9.99 - $12.99

So yesterday, I go into Starbucks to treat myself to an afternoon snack and to use my free petite coupon, before it expires on Monday....so I order a Passion Tea Lemonade - Sweetened and my Lemon Sweet Square....Usually as we all know at Starbucks, when we get our treats, they put them in a Starbucks brown paper back, to my surprise the Barista, places on the counter the cutest little Starbucks box, which is holding my Lemon Sweet Square.
I think the box is so cute, with the updated logo on the front and in the back the word Starbucks printed vertically.  What a great way to receive a treat to self!!!  Oh the things that bring us afternoon joy.  :)

Above you will see the other three projects I worked on during National Scrapbook Day.  I wanted to post these on Sunday or Monday, but I have been battling allergies or a cold, I'm not sure which, so I've been out of commission these last few days.  I do hope that everyone enjoyed National Scrapbook Day this past Saturday.  Also, I hope all you Mommy's had a wonderful Mother's Day and we celebrated for the wonderful women you are!!!  So I hope you enjoy the 2 layouts and the card I created.

For years, I've collected the fortunes from fortune cookies I've received from take out or Asian restaurants.  I love fortune cookies....so a few months back - as I looked at a small container I had with all the fortunes - I wondered what I should do with them....then finally it hit me - I decied to make a scrapbook layout that showcased my love for fortune cookies....so that's what I did.  I finally got around to taking a picture of my fortune cookie - before eating it of course - I had to snap a photo.  Then, after printing the photo - I went to work on deciding how I was going to get the photo plus the majority of my fortunes on the page...and this is what I came up with.
So I challenge you to great a scrapbook layout or something else creative - using something you've been collecting over the months or even years!  :)

So I subscribe to Jennifer McGuire's blog, and was excited when I saw her posting for yesterday entitled:  A challenge, a poll and a giveaway week.....and guess what she had.....a link to a sketch challenge from another blog - Scrapbook Challenges.  So for my Sketch #3, I decided to go with the sketch from Scrapbook Challenges.
So that's what you see below, my completed layout along with the sketch provided by Scrapbook Challenges.

My thought process with this....when I first saw this sketch, I know immediately that I would scrapbook my love for Starbucks Coffee.  For a while there, I had to have my daily Starbucks fix.  Now, I don't drink it daily, but I still enjoy it as much as I did the very first time I tried it, back in 2001.  So anyway, back to the sketch, I decided to follow it pretty much to the t.  I love the way my layout came out and I hope that this will give future generations after me a glimpse into one of my many Simple Joys in Life.  LOL

Happy Scrapping!
